Product Details
The Zirconia full-ceramic outer spherical bearing (UC Type) is designed for high-performance applications requiring self-alignment and smooth, reliable operation. Manufactured with Zirconia (ZrO₂) ceramic inner and outer rings and ceramic balls, combined with a PTFE cage, this bearing provides exceptional durability, chemical resistance, and smooth operation.
Compared with conventional bearing steel, zirconia ceramic bearings perform significantly better in chemically aggressive and electrically sensitive environments.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Lighter weight
- Higher wear and corrosion resistance
- Electrical insulation
- Operates at higher temperatures
- Lower friction and longer service life in precision applications
Yes. Zirconia is chemically inert and biocompatible, making it suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical, and medical applications.
Yes. They offer lower friction and higher stiffness than steel bearings, making them ideal for precision and high-speed machinery.
- Avoid contamination with hard particles
- Use compatible lubricants (ceramic bearings can be used dry in some cases)
- Inspect periodically for wear, especially in high-speed or high-load applications
Yes, but ensure that the bearing housing and lubrication are compatible, and that the load and speed requirements do not exceed ceramic material limits.
