Product Details
This 99% Alumina Tapered Crucible with Top Flange is manufactured from high-purity 99% corundum ceramic.
With a tapered frustum body (upper diameter wider than the bottom) and an outward-protruding top flange rim, the flanged edge can be securely clamped or hung inside tube furnaces and TGA equipment to prevent slipping.
It resists continuous high temperatures up to 1600°C, is outstanding against acid, alkali, and molten salt corrosion, and is non-contaminating for test samples. Smooth dense inner surface is easy to clean and reusable.
Perfect for thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA), sample calcination, sintering and high-temperature ashing test in laboratory furnaces.
